Indonesia Women’s Futsal Team Ready for ASEAN 2026

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Women’s Futsal National Team officially announced its roster of players for the training camp ahead of the 2026 ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship. A total of 19 top players from various domestic clubs have been called up to strengthen the Garuda Pertiwi squad.

Indonesian Futsal Association (FFI) Deputy Secretary General, Frans Xaverius, stated that this call-up is an initial strategic step to refine technical and physical preparations. “The goal is to build chemistry among players to achieve maximum performance in the Southeast Asian arena,” he said on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

The squad consists of a combination of experienced players and talented young prospects from various clubs. Kuda Laut Nusantara Angels contributed the most players, followed by MSP FC, Kebumen Angels, and representatives from university clubs.

The three goalkeepers called up are Fitry Amelya from Kuda Laut Nusantara Angels, Sella Salsadila Agustin from Kebumen Angels, and Riska Aprilia from Alive FC. They will serve as the main defensive backbone of the national team in the upcoming tournament.

The four anchor players called up are Novita Murni Piranti and Diah Tri Lestari from MSP FC, Antika Asri Julaikah from Kebumen Angels, and Nizrina Fauziah Permana from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. They will control the midfield line of play.

The seven flank players on the roster are Dhea Febrina Bangun (Netic FC), Fitri Rosdiana (MSP FC), Diana Nuraeni (STKIP), and Asselah Terecita Lukuaka (Kuda Laut Nusantara Angels). Also included are Fitri Sundari (Kuda Laut), Marsya Aulia Nur Halisa (AFK Bandung), Quisepina Anastasia T Olin (Kuda Laut), and Ikeu Rosita from MSP FC.

The four pivot players called up are Nisma Francida Rusdiana (Alive FC), Agnes Matulapelwa (Netic FC), Insyafadya Salsabillah (Kuda Laut Nusantara Angels), and Arlince Tuan from Universitas Negeri Jakarta. They will serve as the attacking spearhead of the national team.

There are several debutants such as Nizrina Fauziah Permana, Diana Nuraeni, and Arlince Tuan who previously participated in FFI’s Try Out program. They will add new dynamics and energy to the national team squad.

Frans Xaverius, who heads FFI’s National Team Agency, hopes this training camp can craft the best strategy for the team. “The target is to build a champion mentality to face the tough competition at the 2026 ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship,” he hoped.

The coach will use the training camp period to perfect playing patterns and coordination among players from different clubs. Team harmony becomes a crucial factor in achieving optimal results in the regional tournament.
